Kochbulach is located in the Kuraminskii range in the Angren district. This
paleozoic gold deposit is geologically located in the Chatkal Kuraminsk region
of the Hercynian Tian Shan fold system. The deposit is confined to early and
middle Carboniferous volcanic rocks of the Akcha Group. These rocks consist of
Andesite, Dacite and Rhyolite. These volcanic rocks have been cut by
syenite-diorite dykes.

geology
Muruntau is a gold deposit in the Hercynian Tian Shan fold system. The country
rock consists of volcano sedimentary rocks with quartz mica schists, quartzites
and limestones. These rocks are divided into three stratigraphic groups,
Aumzina, Taskazgan and Besapan. The ore formation is restricted to the youngest
Besapan group. There are several dykes, mainly at the edge of the deposit.
