Scheelite

Great orange Scheelite crystal from Tenkergyn, northern Chukotka.

Much less spectacular is the Scheelite from Gumbeiskoye in the Yuzhnyi Ural.

Although Tyrny-Auz is a well known Scheelite locality, the mineral is very hard to find without SWUV light. The
upper picture shows a lot of white phases, below is the same area, blue fluorescence shows where the Scheelite is.
