Kirovsky mine
A good overview of the Kirovski mine. In the center are three shafts. Right
behind is the open pit of the Kirovsky mine. The 'eaten' mountain behind is
Kukisvumchorr.

Roughly the same picture as above, this one is taken in 1938, only ten years
after the mining activity started. Note that most activity is on the slope of the
hill. In the recent picture you see that the excavation of the face did not
change much. The open pit and the shafts are not yet constructed on the old
picture.
