M-19
Raite is mostly known from the Yubileynaya pegmatite in Lovozero. This
specimen is from a much rarer locality,
Tullilukht Bay in the center of the Khibiny massif. The sample comes from a
drill core. This Raite is visually almost identical to the type material, but
has different optical and XRD properties. That is why this material is more
correctly known as M19.
