Asbolane
A typical example of rich nickel ore from Cheremshansk, Yuzhnyi Ural. This
is so called Ocherous-silicate ore.
It consists of ocher ferrihalloysite with black asbolane. This ore
contains up to 3% of nickel.

Compare with the Asbolane from Cheremshansk above. This
specimen comes from a similar paragenese from
the 'Nickel mine' in Adygea, Kavkaz. It is not analysed, but sure does look like
Asbolane
