Chazadyr

geology
Chazadyr is a mercury deposit of the so called Listwänite type (Magnesian-Carnbonate type) with diabase dykes. Chazadyr is located in southwestern Tuva. Major rocks are Precambrean and Lower Cambrian schists, as well as greenstones, limestones, and serpentinites. Aditionally there are Silurian sandstones, siltstones and shales and lower Devonian sandstones. In faults these rock are considerably altered by metasomatic processes. Most ore is present in these fault zones.

Khovu Aksy

Khovu Aksy was discovered in 1947. Khovu Aksy is located close to the Kyzyl-Ubsunur fault, which is the border between the East Tuva Anticlinorium and the West Tuva Synclinorium. The exact geology of the complex is too complicated to describe here in a few words. When I oversimplify there is a complex of sedimentary rocks of both marine, volcanogenic and terrigenous origin and of Devonian, Carboniferous and Jurassic ages. After folding and partial metamorphic alteration, these layers where intruded by a number of different rocks, like granites, diabase and andesite trachites. These intrusions formed skarns at the contact with limestone. And to make it really interesting, the skarns got altered afterwards. Alkaline solutions altered the mainly Scapolite skarns to prehnite-feldspar rocks. See the reference of Smirnov, below for a much more detailed explanation.

Terligkhai

geology
The local geology of Terligkhai is dominated by complex tectonic movements. Basically the area was folded during the Hercynian orogeny. But after this primary upthrust, many followed. The Terligkhai deposit is connected to the Pel'oruk fault. Here an Ordovician sand-shale was pushed onto a Devonian volcano-sedimentary sequence. This Lower Devonian sequence consists mostly of  andesitic tuffs and conglomerates and is ore bearing.

Ust-Yuk

The name resembles Ust Uyuk, above and so does the geology and mineralogy. There could be a mix up and both localities could be the same. Both localities and their mineralogy are named in 'Minerals First Discovered on the Territory of the former Soviet Union', by Igor Pekov. This is a very good reference source with accurate data. Therefore I consider both localities as separate ones.
